I have a wedding coming up and am looking for nail polish to match my dress...?

I have a red and white patterned dress with white shoes/clutch to match. I am looking for a nail colour to match. Some people have said red (to match the red in the dress) but I'm not sure. I have quite short nails and want something sort of subtle.

Help appreciated!

I would go with a french manicure. It's simple and classic, and you won't have to worry about anything clashing with your dress. you might be able to get a really, really light red, almost pink colour for the base if you want something to kind of go with the outfit.
Reply:why not a french manicure but make it a soft red instead of full on red?
Reply:have the french tip in red colour its very very nice and different, its very fashionable
Reply:u know what , a wedding. if i were you i would go with the classy professionally done square-round french tips, they match everything and always look great :)
Reply:put on fake realistic nails that are long and pretty.

white french nails should be pretty.

For short nails, black nailpolish would be the best, but for your wedding i dont think itll be appropriate~

Have a lovely wedding~
Reply:Definitely go french tips!
Reply:I suggest you do a pearl white colour in a sort of glaze for your nails. The red would look to...well..."hookerish".

The good thing about the white is that it enhances your natural nails and you don;t need long nails for it to look good.

If you decide to go with fake nails (which I don't REALLY don't recommend myself, but since it's your big day it's allowed) go with a short length that looks like you could've grown it yourself, and DO NOT do it yourself, go to a salon!!

Congratulations!!
Reply:Sally Hansen's pearlised ones.
