How can people lose their shoes in the road and not know?

i kind of understand trainers etc - kids fooling around throwing them off buses or falling out of school bags on the way home are amongst some of the responses i have had so far - however after seeing a high heel shoes in the middle of the rd the other day i come to wonder how can people lose their shoes and not know? -one response to this was hen nights fooling around throwing them from the limo - even i (who doesnt really do shoes and bags) know that you do not mess with another girls heels.


another one was a mans polished posh shoe - nice suit shoes so to speak - in the middle of the rd - now even when drunk i know if i have my shoes on -


help i just dont get this!!!!!

How can people lose their shoes in the road and not know?
they might be trying to air out their feet through the window. duh.

Maybe people throw out their shoes and others play with them...very unlikely

Reply:well, I know for a fact that when you see shoes hanging from power lines by the laces it's a sign that you can buy illegal substances in that area if you wait around long enough. Sometimes the shoes get knocked down by the wind and land in the street.
Reply:could be an annoyed boyfriend's revenge


or an ex's present she didn't want to keep


or lads/laddetts being 'amusing' with their paralytic mate's shoes


or they could be hurting too much to stand (when enough is drunk the owner may not care if she hasn't got shoes on - particularly if she's been dancing all night.)


or they could have been put on top of the car whilst loading it and dropped off when she braked sharply.

Reply:Quite honestly I have wondered the same thing. How does a lone shoe end up in the street? I say the chicken was wearing it when she tried to cross the road....hahahaha.
Reply:Maybe the man simply was in too much of a hurry to pick up his shoe? Or it could be that he's some sort of rich brat with too much money so shoes didn't really matter. Or maybe he was being kidnapped? The possiblities are impossible to list.
