my favorite pair of slouchy suade boots from last year are all ruined from water damage. there are big white circles on them. and i probably made it worse by putting black shoe polish in an attempt to repair them
Is there anyway to repair black suade from water damage?
The shoe polish is definately a BAD thing. Suede generally can be rejuvinated with a suede brush - steel bristles very close together. Effectively the brush ruffs up the top side of the suede. This would certainly get out water stains. Don't forget next time to treat your boots with a suede spray protector.
As for the shoe polish - pass!
