Remove little scratches from car windows?

i used the back of a spounge to get shoe polish off my windows and it looks like little scratches all over my windows there only nosible from a surtine angle but it bugs me anyone now anything i can get to get rid of these also i have shoe polish on my car any way to get that off withought hurting my paint thanks?

Reply:Have you tried some good ole windex or Rain-X window cleaner? There very well could be a layer of grime built up on your windows, and what you're seeing is areas where the sponge wiped off that grime.

it removes oil based products.
Reply:yeah, Rubbing compound. Use Plenty of water when you rub.


or Polishing compound, with plenty of water when you rub. or use a polisher. And oh yeah, wear gloves, like the Hospital people wear.
Reply:Some ****** got you huh? For the Paint, Try Alcohol, see if that cuts it. If not, then it's an oil based substance, you CAN use regular paint thinner IF you dont rub hard, just let the liquid paint thinner do the work on a SOFT sponge, and immeadiatly flust the area with warm soapy water, then wax the area, it will be ok.
