Does anybody know how to keep white sneakers white?

What I mean by this question is when you purchase white sneakers they look perfect white. No glue marks, no wear and tear marks just perfect. How can you keep your shoes with that same look. I have placed them in the washer and dryer but i get them more torn. I have purchased new shoes and just used white shoe polish but still it doesn't look brand new. What am I doing wrong? How can I keep them looking brand new and as white as 100% cotton. ( figertly speeking). Celebraties have white shoes all the time. Yes they have money to keep buying new shoes but I have seen normal people with white shoes and i know they have a secret. I even used toothpaste. Nothing. Anybody have any ideas???

Thanks.

bleach them. but its physically impossible to keep white sneakers white unless you dont wear them at all. try buying a darker color sneakers, they wont look quite as dirty.
Reply:I wipe the dirt off with bleach. It helps alot!
Reply:When you first buy them, go to the shoe store and get a waterproofing solvent. Put that on top of the shoes. Any dirt will wipe off easily. If you do wash them in the washer, put the waterproofing solvent on it again. It's like stainmaster for your shoes!

And quit walking in mud or puddles. Try to walk around anything really nasty. Waterproofers can only do so much!

Good luck!

(BTW, payless had white Keds-type sneakers on sale yesterday for $7 a pair in the store...)
Reply:Everytime you go out and they get dirty don't sweat it. Go home and take them off and put some bleach on a papertowel and scrub it off. That works for me. But if that doesn't seem to work very well you could try to use/buy white shoe polish from the same store you bought the shoes from. My brother and friend use it and there shoes are very white. My friend is in track and her shoes get dirty alot but the next day her shoes look brand new.

Hope I helped ♥♥
Reply:dont wear them
Reply:bleach
Reply:use a bleach pen and put them in the washer. then air dry them, DO NOT put them in the dryer. that will ruin them.
