they're actually the "carrie" pumps by Guess...(its on their website if you need to see the color)...but they're gold...i have a small scuff on the back of them..but its been driving me crazy...is there any way to fix that?? i know you can get black shoe polish for boots and stuff, but i dont know about gold..?? any suggestions??
Help-i have a pair of gold high heels...?
I have these shoes and several other bronze, silver, gold and metallic pumps, sandals and shoes. Here is the only remedy I know to obscure scuffs and wear marks. Take the shoes with you to the craft store paint aisle. I match up the color to one of the acyrlic paint colors. Once I get home, I paint the damage with the paint and then use a little clear nail polish over it as a seal so it won't wear off again. Works like a charm!
Reply:Take them to a shoe cobbler and get his opinion. You don't want to ruin them trying other tactics.
Reply:YUCK! I'm sorry but those are real ugly. As a male, I think those crave's are the way to go. Those closed, pointy toe shoes were the European trend last year...but I still did not find them attractive. Thankfully, you have a scuff on them. Now throw them out and get some nice open toe shoes....the more straps, the better.
