How do I keep white tennis shoes white?

I recently purchased a new pair of white K-Swiss sneakers, and want to know the secret of keeping them white! Besides shoe polish, what other things can I do on a regular basis to keep them looking new?

How do I keep white tennis shoes white?
i too have some kswiss.. (ironic huh?lol )

i have had mine about a month and all i do is this-

get a mrclean magic eraser .. wet it and wipe you shoes with it.. then wipe off the "crumbles" with a paper towel

also for the areas that are stitched and get dirty you can use a clorox bleach pen gel.. i wouldnt suggest it for the whole shoe on a reg basis, but putting a thin line on the stitches, let it set a few minutes then wipe with a damp cloth a couple times to make sure you have removed all the bleach.

but mainly just wipe it with a magic eraser (the cheap store brands of the same type work well too)
Reply:Regularly apply cleaners on the leather surfaces and keep them away from sunlight. The white soles will eventually turn yellowish and that's something you can't do anything about, but as long as you keep them in concealed compartment(with ventilation) you could delay the aging. I have several white sneakers and have taken a lot of effort to keep them in good shape.
Reply:My boyfriend recently bought new white tennis shoes and asked me the same thing! I told him that the best thing he can do after he takes them off is to wipe them down with a clean %26amp; damp cloth. If you do this every day it will help keep the shoes white. Also, if you go to Hy-Vee or Wal-Mart and look in the shoe department I believe there are some shoe polishers there that you could use. And you can always use the stain/spot removal sticks that they sell in Wal-Mart.
Reply:Mr. Clean magic eraser works wonders.
Reply:simple green and a brush
Reply:Leave them in the closet.
Reply:keep them in their box in your closet. that always works!!
