I used Spackle on my husband's golf shoes. Will he notice?

First I hit them with windex. Then I used some Oxy-clean (without gloves), then since I do not have white shoe polish I used white spackle, like for the walls.

Reply:Yes Julie, you husband will notice; and he will be pissed! I play golf myself and know how touchy a man can be about his shoes and equipment. First off, dye doesn't weigh a whole lot, Spackle does. So even if he doesn't see the difference he will defiantly feel the difference. And I'm not 100% sure, but you probably ruined the material too, so don't be surprised when he wants to run out and buy a new pair.
