How to restore colour on a leather suite?

Through over zealous cleaning (rubbing) and probably using cheap leather cleaners my cream leather suite has lost some of its pigmentation. What can I do to restore the colour. Would cream shoe polish be any good. Failing this what can I do to limit further damage.

You need to contact a leather specialist who can certainly repair this sort of damage.

LTT have trained technicians throughout the UK.

Cheap leather cleaners can often damage the finish on leather as can some 'conditioners'. Leather should be cleaned and protected with good water based products
Reply:You may need to see an upholsterer..if you are going to try shoe polish try it on the back or underneath see what happens you probably wont get the same colour

.FYI you don't need to use leather cleaner for leather its a total rip off. Just hoover it and dust it (dust erodes leather) and to get marks off use mild soapy water, trey to catch the stains when they are 'fresh'

Reply:Have you tried using sandal soap. You can find it in the grocery dept by the shoe polish.. I use it and it worked very good on my greyish blue leather recliners.
Reply:try a leather conditioner, it will bring back shine and color. stop using cleaners for a while.
Reply:Nowadays u can have ur leather restored, its done by using spray products, contact a local upholsterer or even main dealer garages, there r companies that repair dents, chipped paint, upholstery damage the lot. I have seen an e-type jag have its faded leather re-sprayed, dont worry it doesnt come off on 2 ur clothing, i think its a dye rather than a special paint, it does a great job, and ur suite will b as good as new.

let me know how u get on if u use my idea.
