Any ideas on how to black out some windows temporarily?

A friend of mine is having a party this weekend that's themed on one of her favorite bars. This bar was recently closed down and we want to commemorate it by recreating it in a suite at a local hotel. Any ideas on how we could black out the very large windows in the suite? She was going to use shoe polish originally but found out that the hotel would be very angry with her if she did. We need something temporary, with easy clean up, that won't get us fined by the management!

Any ideas on how to black out some windows temporarily?
black trash bags taped to the windows might work

Reply:Maybe you should try something like foil or black poster board with double sided tape.
Reply:just put up black paper, or black cardboard. you could try curtains to
Reply:aluminum foil and masking tape. :)
Reply:Go to a fabric store, they have rolls of black material that u can buy and just cover the window. There are also rolls of black paper u can use, if all else fails use alot of black construction paper.
Reply:use black construction paper! Or paint pieces of wood black and put them up in the windows.
Reply:Try covering them with foil wrap. You might need a lot but it clings well and clean up is easy.
Reply:cardboard and tape....cardboard you can get for free and its easy to work with
